  • Those that are done can go onto the Gingerbread man or create something from your imagination

  • Please report to class for attendance and to sign out a laptop first

Wednesday, May 14

Block C – Animation

  • Introduction to Blender
  • Complete either the Chair or the Sword beginner tutorial (your choice)

Block D – ICT 11/12

  • You have today’s class to work on your presentation for the business fair tomorrow
  • You need to have several posters to set up at your table (these can be standard 8.5×11 size) that can be: advertisements for your game, instructions, lists of features, etc.
  • You will also need to have you game design document ready to show tomorrow
  • Rehearse your 30 second “elevator pitch”

Tuesday, May 13

Block C – Animation

  • Introduction to Blender
  • Download/Install
  • Mr. Powell will demo a few basic tricks
  • You will have some play time

Block D – ICT 11/12

  • Final games must be submitted through Mr. Powell’s dropbox (same submission as Beta Test)
  • You will have approximately 15 minutes to get this organized before we start playing the games.
  • Everyone will have a few minutes to demo their game on the big screen.
  • Please play and rate the games using the form on the Moodle.

Monday, May 12

Block C – Animation

  • Finish watching feature-length animated film (~25 mins)
  • Read 3D World Magazine article / Discussion
  • There will be some opportunity for catch-up today for those that still need to complete assignments
  • We will begin with 3D modelling this week

Block D – ICT 11/12

  • Final polish on your games, have them ready to go Tuesday. Prepare business plan on Wednesday, Business Fair on Thursday.
  • Final Games due Tuesday, May 13
