Thursday, December 14

Block B – ICT 11/12

  • Work towards Beta Test on Wednesday December 20
  • Your game must be submitted at the start of class next Wednesday
  • You should have at least one playable level with artwork and a completed design document

Block C – Animation

  • “The Robot” assignment
  • Plan to complete the modelling of your robot today (and work on the environment if you are done)
  • Mr. Powell will go over “rigging” tomorrow

Block D – Video & Film

  • Mr. Powell will be checking in on your progress in 3 areas – design (document), programming, art

Block C – Animation

  • “The Robot” assignment
  • Anyone still working on the Magic Sword needs to finish that off and move on please

Block D – Video & Film

  • Make sure all 3 areas of your game is making progress – design (document), programming, art

Block C – Animation

  • “Magic Sword” assignment
  • Model the sword, create a scene, add materials, ANIMATE!
  • Try to finish this off today
  • Start on “The Robot”

Block D – Video & Film

  • Short Film Production
  • Those with a completed storyboard/script can sign out a camera
  • Remember good composition (rule of thirds, variety of shot types, Spielberg shots etc.)
  • Refer to the production schedule and make sure you are on track!
